My Brother’s Arm

Verse 1:-

Out in the country making hay
Kissing the girls and running away
I had my good luck charm, my brother’s arm

Getting in scrapes and foolin’ around
I was always safe from harm

When war came we took a stand
They needed us to fight for this land
As we signed I held my brother’s hand

Cold, soaked and scared my brother froze
I reached down and grabbed his arm
pulled him up as the explosion struck
