I’ve played guitar on and off for 40 years, but never been a serious musician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yes, I did actually look like this once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the songs\/tunes were written around this time. In most cases the words came along a bit later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I’d like to use this space to also give a big thank you to a group of YouTube folk who, through their dedication to providing training videos on many aspects of audio production, have taken me from a completly incapable new starter to being able to make a passable attempt :- <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ableton tutorials :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The videos that go from the very basics through to some very complicated techniques are fantastic. Ableton is such a huge product that going through right from the basic moving around the screen and the differences between Session and Arrangement views really helps to get the most out of it.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n

The Record,Mix,Master,Release series is basically a bible.\nSo very useful to break down the process stages , and put them in a proper sequence  <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Geoff Manchester, Johnathan Wyner (Izotope) :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tutorials on Ozone, Neutron etc. are completely invaluable, both the overview and detailed  'every button' videos.  You can do so much with these Plugins that  these guides are a godsend<\/pre>\n\n\n\n

mixing mastering videos are so useful as are the walkthroughs on products<\/pre>\n\n\n\n

The detailed walkthroughs of the Mosaic engine and products are invaluable.  \nAlso the 'Are you Listening' series was great to watch and highly informative<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
